Hows it going guys, after training I currently take Optimum Nutrition 2:1:1 recovery but sometimes after a workout I am just hungry, so I was wondering what food would be best to eat the after a work out instead of taking the shake.

    Thanks....

well any food that is high in protein and getting in some carbs also e.g. peanut butter with oatcakes or just have a dinner within an hour of the session.

Bananas or any high GI fruit is also good post workout to get sugar levels back up.

I have to mention home made flapjacks as they are a staple for me also

I'd go with fruit and chicken myself if I'm hungry enough to swap a shake for food.
