    Just try give as much information as you can on the job. Qualifications needed, salaries etc. :)

    Field Services Engineer



    • This Field Services Engineer position is part of the team responsible for supporting and maintaining IT support services to our customer base within Ireland.
    • The position is primarily a field role providing support to customer networks, servers and desktops.


    Responsibilities

    • Support, install and maintain servers, firewalls, desktops, network equipment & peripherals

    • Meet prescribed SLA’s and record support logs.
    • Suggests potential improvements to the technical infrastructure relative to security, business continuity, service delivery, etc.
    • Develop a positive working relationship and trust with customers.
    • Implement and design infrastructure projects.

    Technical Experience & Abilities

    • SCSI and RAID Technologies
    • HP, IBM and Dell Servers
    • Microsoft Server 2000, 2003,2008 (& SBS),
    • Microsoft Exchange Server

    • Hyper-V / VMware experience desirable
    • LAN/WAN system environments.
    • TCP/IP, DNS,WINS, DHCP
    • VPN (Setup & Configuration)
    • Firewall (Setup & Configuration)
    • Backup Solutions experience
    • Antivirus Solutions experience
    • MCSA required, MCSE desirable
    • Cisco experience would be an advantage

    Personal Attributes

    • 5 years IT support experience, with 3 years experience in onsite trouble shooting.

    • Organised and focused.
    • Proactive, capable of working on his/her own initiative.
    • Flexible approach to problem solving.

    • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
    • Strong customer focus.
    • Must be a team player.
    • Full clean driving licence.

    Office Location: Dublin South
    Salary: 27-35k
