    Hi,
I'm looking for recommendations for the 'best' , not necessarily the cheapest, travel insurance company.
In the past I have taken out multi-trip policies and unfortunately, last year we ended up having to claim off our policy for a medical issue in the US. The company I had the travel insurance with was BlueInsurances whose underwriter is Axa and they were an absolute nightmare to deal with. They kept telling me the bill would be paid (they had cashed the cheque I had sent them for the excess) but I was getting letters from the hospital for months and it eventually took the Ombudsman to sort it out  ... Sooo, now we are going travelling again I am looking at buying insurance and want to change companies so any recs please?
    Thanks
