    Interesting.

Used baseball for 10-12 years growin up. Came back to the game after a few years of not playing and decided to switch to interlocking.

My ball striking and control has never been as good though.

Been playing around with the baseball on the range recently and i think i'm gonna try switching back.

Started baseball - when I didn't know any better.
Went to Overlap - when I thought I knew better!
Now Interlock - cos I know better.

Interlock all my life, A friend of the fathers showed me to do it when I was a young fella and never changed from there. the interlocking part that is. most of the rest of my game has had plenty of tweaking over the years

Overlapping(Vardon) grip for me. Started with baseball grip then to interlocking but noticed that Faldo(my hero :o) used the overlapping so changed and have used that since. Interlocking feels really awkward for me now.

Cack handed grip a a beginner. Then my Mam bought me a golf instruction book so I switched to interlock, played like that for 6 months, then changes to overlap (vardon grip) & have been playing this way since.

I use overlap. Interlock makes me too handsy.

Might give interlock a go again to see if it makes any difference.

I've never used anything other than the overlap.

Started with the hurlers grip - switched to interlock after about a year. Comfortable with it since!

Overlapping for the first 20 years of my golf.
Baseball for the last 2...just seems better.

    Putting is still overlap though.

Started with interlock as a 13 y/o as my hands were too small for overlap. When I hit 16 my father made my brother and I move to overlap....he insisted we hold a club with the overlap grip while sitting in front of the TV in the evenings!

I`ve been using the baseball grip all my golfing life. No matter how hard I try tochange to interlock or overlap, I always revert back to the baseball grip. I`m sure this is preventing me from getting my handicap down but, hey ho!

Interlock all my life. Think Tiger uses interlocking grip too. If it'd good enough for him............

Yeah, that's something that often gets bandied about... 'you'll never get lower unless you change your grip'. Not sure i believe that.
