    Hi

my laptop wont open with windows normally it is suggesting launch start up repair. When i select this a blue screen comes up basically saying to ensue any new software/hardware is properly installed

it goes on to say if problems continue disabke BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing it says press F8 for safe mode to do this

the end of it has technical info saying " stop 0x0000c1F5 and then a load of zeros.

can anyone advise on this. laptop is a dell inspiron 1720 about 15 months old and is out of warranty i tried looking af safe mode but have had no luck

    can any1 help please?

You could try booting directly from your windows cd.
