What goods/services can you provide to our new society?

A recent thread suggesting that the monetary system be abandoned raised the idea of bartering. My question is this: if the contributors to this forum were to set up their own cashless, classless society, what good or service could you provide in return for other goods or services?

Personally, I don't have any marketable skills of note; would probably be willing to do menial tasks in exchange for food, clothes, etc. Which pretty much sums up my current job/existence

The Catholic church can chooses not to marry steers if they want. I have no problem with that. Civil unions i.e. the real reason for getting 'married', should be all inclusive. I should be allowed civil union my dog too

As a full on bartering system would be chaotic, I will offer a new and novel service. I will act as an intermediary between the bartering parties, I will take deposits of material goods on which i will pay a nominal interest rate of 1 chicken AER, I will then lend out those goods to other parties for which I will charge a fee of two chickens AER.

I will create a facility whereby people can apply for a large number of chickens up front providing they comply with lending criteria. Once I control a large enough portion of the countries chickens, I will recklessly change my lending criteria and leverage the amount of chickens I have available through the unregulated international chicken market.

Of course, I realise that I will be leaving myself open to the risk of an implosion in the markets brought on by the over reliance of chicken futures and derivative products, but I figure that due to the huge over dependence of borrowed chickens, the bartering parties will have to bail me out if said chickens come home to roost.

Fantastical stuff I know, but carzily enough, it just might work ...

Classlessness doesn't necessarily imply communism, just a reduction in the disparities that promote extreme social stratification. And the means of production would remain firmly in the hands of the individual. I would suggest that you enlist with our community defence corps and put some of that blood-lust to good use.
