ya, saw them yesterday in the GPO arcade, the 1150 looks nice. You can still get the 2140 in Elverys for €84.50 at the moment.

I'm looking now at the Nimbus 11 for about 105.

At the mo i'm doing about 20 miles a week but that is raising weekly.

This is the most recent mode ? I hope to buy 1 pair now and another after crimbo.

Are these reatil or just online? About €20 dearer than UK online stores. Worth walking in and getting to try them on for that if you are not 100% on szies.

I think you generally find decent sales on the old stock around this time when the new models are about to come out. Mick Dowlings were advertising a pre-marathon sale on asics recently, Amphiban King were also offering their 3 year birthday sale on asics and I'm sure there were others. I read that as Asics have reduced the costs on old stock to shops which are passing on the savings to customers. Shop around and you're bound to find good deals. I got a pair of 2140 a few months back for €59 in Arnotts. Old stock but I don't care for that price.

If anyone finds any good deals then let us know - I'm in the market for a new pair or two of 2140s... esp if I can get them for under €60 again.

Stupid_Private, did you use the 2130s before hand, and if so is there any difference? I'm in the same boat I wouldn't mind picking up another pair of cheap 2130s or if there's not much difference the 2140s. Anyone seen any for around €50?!
