Airsoft limits

Hey u guys, just a quick Q, is there anyway,legal or not,to get a airsoft sniper rifle imported from America? I know the general law states that anything firing over 1jouel of energy is a weapon, but for a airsoft sniper, you just simply need more power than a pussy 300-320fps, on the basis that snipers fire from a much greater distance from their target!

simple answer is no

one joule is the limit, unfortunately does not matter the role you choice to play as its not going to change im afraid

i used to think snipers needed to be higher than 328fps but not anymore 328 does us fine just get the right ballance of bb weight and hop + a decent scope your sorted. i have played in other countries with a higher limit but then ya have stand off distance and all that jazz still good fun though. but have to agree with pudding 328= the law and the law is the law.
