beard trimmer

    im looking to get some help on purchasing a beard trimmer,

    i like to keep around 3-4 days stubble at all times, and looking for a specific beard trimmer to do this, but there is so many out there, im a bit over whelmed on which one to pick! what lenght would 3-4 days stubble be in mm? i have no idea on the lenghts?

    any help or recommendations would be great thanks!!

    do you use that your self?

    how lowest setting is 0.6mm would that be 1-2 days stubble growth? thanks!

    yep, have it about a year. Haven't used it at setting 1, although 0.6mm has to be a day or less of growth. Setting 4 seems to be about the same as a barbershop no.3 blade.

    Check both Boots and Argos as they often have beard and hair trimmers
    reduced by 30-50% several times a year.

    Go to a hair suppliers and buy one there . Salon services , Terrisales or Flair , all in the book . id recommend a wahl clippers , they come with attachments for diff lenghts , about €50 but will last you a lifetime , im a barber , i should know

    I'd go along with dcjudge, the Wahl are very very sharp.

    I bought a Philips beard trimmer to replace my budget Wahl, good grief, the Philips is like a pair of safety scissors.

    Most of the Home Wahl range have ceramic blades and the moving upper blade isn't overly recessed (make it idiot\litigation proof..) like some of the other brands (Philips), so it will actually cut, properly, first time.

    The only downside is you can nick yourself, defining sideburns etc, with the Wahl, but that isn't a bad quality, in a trimmer.
