Wireless signal senders

Looking at these wireless signal senders for watching tv in another room in Argos. Are they any good?

I've a Sky+ box in one room and use my old Sky box for freeview in another. Could I hook one of these things up to watch the Sky+ signal in the other room as well as the freeview?

Also, can they be used to watch a DVD 'remotely'?

Any input would be great thanks.

They vary in performance and quality.
Most of them operate at 2.4Ghz ,the same as wifi so they will interfere with your wireless network if you have one.
The interference can be minimised by using a high freq band channel for the video sender and a low freq channel for wifi or vica versa.
    Microwaves seriously affect them too.
The newer 5.8ghz sets are much less prone to interference but because of the small wavelength their range isnt as good.
I have a Philex Superwand 2.4ghz set and I dont think much of them ,I have very little interference but the picture quality is only fair .
They have scart input so you can connect almost anything up to them so yes you can watch a dvd remotely.

Thanks for that. I do have a wireless network so that kind of puts me off the idea a bit. That said, I don't fancy paying for a multiroom subscription.
