You really haven't a hope of getting XP these days. Do you have any figure in mind for a price?

I didn't go this way but I think getting Vista Business is the easiest route if you need XP and don't want to mess around with installing XP on a new hardware on your own. I'm not sure how this "downgrade" works exactly but it should be easier that finding drivers and slipstreaming them in a custom Win XP installation what you're likely to do if you'll want to setup WinXP on a new machine which wasn't designed for it. Where they advertise "Win Vista Business/Win XP downgradable", it must work with XP and it must be relatively easy to downgrade (I just guess). When they do not mention XP, it may not work at all. I didn't see this with XP yet but I recently failed to install Win2K on two new laptops so something similar may be around the corner for XP as well.

I've seen issues arising with xp and drivers for new machines already, tbh, the best way of getting around it is to buy a machine with windows 7 ultimate and hardware that can support xp mode.
