HDMI port no workey after Windows 7 Upgrade

Just upgraded from Vista and I am now having trouble with the HDMI.

System is an XPS1330, it has had no problems connecting previously.

I know the TV is picking up the connection as the source becomes available on the TV when it identifies there is a connection on both end of the cable (TV and Comp). It then just displays 'no signal'.

Really cannot get my head around it, graphics driver is up to data and has not changed since the upgrade.

    Anyone any ideas??

Can the computer identify the second screen? Right click on the desktop and go display settings. In there you can hopefully see two screens, the second of which you can either extend your desktop onto or clone your current screen onto. If you're using an ati card then try doing this through the Catalyst Control Center where you should be able to find a "detect displays" option.

Sorry for being vauge, not at my win7 PC and I'm a bit sketchy as to where everything is yet.

Go to your display properties and change the resolution/refresh on the 2nd screen and see if that works. If it doesn't then it's your gpu drivers.

You might have to use a hotkey to enable/disable the HDMI output - usually fn+f8 on Dell laptops. Either that or configure it in your display driver's settings.
