    Hi all ,

i was trying to book my ferry for a 2.5 month trip with my camper in sept.2010 on irish ferrys but it would not let me book that far in advance.
I leaving from rosslare to cherbough.
    anyone any Tips ,?
Because such a big trip as i will be driving all the way to the west sahara and money will be an issue as i am on a budget and try to take as much money with me as i can ,so i want to get the best prices for the ferrys.
    thanks for the help.
Oh if anyone has traveled from spain to africa ?<is it better to book ahead or on the harbour......???????

Irish ferries have not yet got their 2010 bookings available yet. But you can ring them and put your name on a wait-list if your dates are not flexible.

However, if you are looking to do this as cheaply as possible - and as you are in a camper van so accomodation charges are not an issue, you could look at travelling 'landbridge' via the UK which would be cheaper.

Alternatively, there is another ferry co called LD Lines which travel to Cherbourg - I don't have any first hand experience but they might be worth comparing to Irish Ferries.
