rosslare golf club?

    just wondering what its like?
    i know there is the old 18 hole course and the new 12 hole course, are they soil or sand based greens? place in good condition?
    any info you have on the place would be great, thanks

    I played it a few weeks ago and it was in great condition... it's a proper links so it is sandy dry. It wasn't too windy so it played a bit easier than it sometimes can. I think it was the start of a winter alliance... good value anyway on a Monday. I think €30 early morning and €40 mid-morning... I presume it's on every Monday for the winter?
    I've played the course a few times at this stage and it's one I'd like a lot... I also know some people that don't rate it so highly (when compared with some of their favourite links).

    I enjoy Rosslare its a good test of golf and being in Waterford its the nearest links to me.Its well maintained but as Licksy says some people dont rate it compared to your Portmarnocks,Lahinch and European type courses but if you get the chance go and enjoy.
