Heard yesterday on local radio that a rifle (calibre unknown) and ammo was taken from the boot of a car in the newtown castletroy shopping centre.
Just a reminder that no one should transport any firearm and ammo in the same place.
Gun should be broken or bolts or othe parts removed and stored with ammo in the front of the car.
When going shooting you should never stop for anything or leave a gun unattended in a car or van etc.
This guy will probably not getting his renewal after that.

Bolts or other necessary firing mechanism should be on your person.

We all do it. We go hunting or to the range or for a shot in the nearby bog. We (most of us) stop off at the fuel station to grab a bottle of coke or fags or a quick bite to eat. Watch it lads, thers C**ts just waiting for a chance. How simple it can happen, you'll never shoot again if it happens to you.
