Viewing the accounts of a registered charity

    If one wanted to view the accounts of a registered charity can one do this online ?.

    If not are the records held locally or nationally & would it involve any other procedure like FOI ?

    If they file their accounts on the CRO you can pay a small fee and get them from there.
    If not alot of charities have them on their website.

    CRO ? I am not an accountant !. Is this online or at an office somewhere ?

    Yeah sorry it is a website www.cro.ie you can search by their and find out if they have lodged accounts.
    If you run into problems send me a PM with charity details.
