Do you see yourself back in a good job with a good future in the next 12 months?
    if you are unemployed.

I am a "professional" student. I'll still be a student in 12 months just with a whole lot of stress.

I wonder if you can be a professional gimp??

I'd say its a pain in the ass but it pays well:pac:

Personally, I'm "finding a new direction" not gimp related

    Hi blueshark.
    Self employed painter /decorater.
Working away alot of the time but with with reduced rates and expensives of advertising, running a van, tools and lots of other expenses it can be a struggle..

Was quiet for a couple of weeks and nearly went off my mind in that time doing nothing.,cant even think of what it must be like to be sitting at home not knowing when you
will make your next pack lunch for work or book your next holiday knowing that your holiday pay will cover you for it..

That's rough , but you must stay positive,( i live in ennis and in the past month or so 3 houses in my estate have gone on sale and sold already - so that must be good for ur line of work :). Workwise i was in a team of 14, and we all did crazy hours , the team is 10 now and we're practically all home by 2/3 - so not going to last. Waiting for the bullet to be honest! We are lucky though ireland is not the worst country to be unemployed in - the stats are there, believe me.

IT. A few people were laid off & I kind of got a promotion that is basically a lot more work and hassle with no extra pay. But I am learning a lot so should be in a much better position when it all pans out.

Better start saving for your pension.

There wont be a government, never mind a pension, by the time you retire.

Food supply is always good, that and health. Wont be millionaires, but wont starve. They used to say that about public service.
