What happened to his career? He seemed destined for big things and then seemed to guy pretty quite. Was he doing drugs or something similar or did it just not happen through chance?

He's working on a new movie about the 1916 Easter Rising I heard. He was great in Memento and LA Confidential.

When I saw him at the start of the Hurt Locker, I thought 'fab, I'm looking forward to seeing him in this and then
    He got blown up!!

Last high profile thing he was in was The Time Machine which was godawful, although The Proposition is ****ing fantastic, he's kept it to smaller movies really but hes a dependable actor

He did a good job in The Proposition. An awesome movie I thoroughly recommend.

I like Guy Pearse, Count of Monte Cristo is one of my all time fav movies for some reason. He seems to be a super actor given his range in his best films.

I loved The Proposition, Danny Huston and Ray Winstone were outstanding, but I thought Guy Pearce was the worst thing about that film.

I think he is one of those actors that when you see him in something you know he is going to be quality. Doesnt really seem to sell out.
