Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Sky TV through Media Center ?

    Hi

    I have a Media Center and have loads of free sattelite channels working fine.

    But I am thinking to get Sky again and was wondering if I can get these channels through Vista Media Center.

    I am open to do it either way - with a TV card (and no Sky box) or to keep the Sky Box and just to get Media Center to change the channels on the Sky box.

    I have started to look into this but the TV card option sounds complicated (programming TV cards etc).

    And the option to let Media Center sounds less complicated but if someone could explain to me how to set it up step by step ? And also - if I get my Media Center to change the channels, will I only have the option to change channels and no Sky EPG ?
