I've just read the article about this on the RTE website.

Very sad news!

My heart goes out to his poor mother who has to make that long flight over to Australia to meet up with the rest of the family who are already over there.

I'm a similar age to him & have also recently moved oversea's. It upsets me to even imagine my family hearing news like this about me & having to deal with it.

Heard some of the reports including the update this morning, the whole thing is tragic, RIP to the lad and hope his family can come to terms with their loss.
