    Hi

Well here is the bottom line. I am a man if limited means.
I need a space to do a little bit of recording and an excellent
listening space to which i can use on a regular basis. like, a lot.
rehersal spaces or any of those wont really do. and it is difficult
when your sharing accomodation to have a decent home studio.
especially the space that it requires and the noise involved.
i heard of amon tobin, a dj and producer based in london going
and renting some industrial units on the outskirts of london
for his needs. i like that idea. i guess i am looking for the best
solution but i have not found it yet. can you guys advise on
    your experience of this?

    Rich.

    :o

a good bet would be to check out industrial estates, some of them have rooms/space to let and that might work, and youd be able to make as much noise as you want after office hours.
