Hi...Im looking for some advice regarding planting/growing veg in a greenhouse. I've no experience whatsoever..total noob! The main issue is how & when to start the process..if anyone has a list of what to plant and when that would be brilliant..
I went out recently and bought 6 grow bags..which i hope to use for growing spuds, carrotts, and lettuce..i also bought 2 ceramic herb pots..pretty basic. I've yet to buy the soil/compost so if you can advice me on what i should pick up i'd greatly appreciate. If all goes well in the green house im gona convert the garden!

    thanks.

    My favourite site:

This is an idea that some transition towners promote, no idea if the site is any good:

Start tomatoes in February in your greenhouse (or window). You *might* be able to start some winter salads now (Autumn King lettuce or corn salad) but other than that it's too late to do anything other than eat sprouted seeds.
Spuds might be best grown in a tall bag or a bin than a growbag.

Plan your space now and prepare your crop rotation plan carefully for the next few years. Use the winter to do this and research, and it will make the start easier. Prior preparation prevents disappointments.

Best of luck and enjoy. I wish you a good summer and much enjoyment.
