Tas error cannot log in - HELP !!!

    Hi all,

    I'm getting the following error on my TAS books v8 - any help would be greatly appreciated if possible.

    'Unable to open Country file
    Btrieve error : 30'


    Now I know if I had of paid for support I wouldn't be here asking - I'm already kicking myself on that, but I have never had a problem in 6 years. I do regular back ups and have been using it no problems after upgrading - I am really at a loss.

    I don't know that specific error but what I would try is to reinstall your tas software and restore your latest backup.
    I suspect your install has been damaged.
    If you have a friend with Tas 8, a more cautious approach would be to ask them to restore your data - this would establish whether its the data file or the software that's causing the problem.
