Went on holiday for a week (17-25 of October) and when I got back my TV planner was all empty (Thomson DVR - UPC Mediabox)... I'm in Dublin 2 and was wondering if anyone else have had this problem? Had to re-enter all recordings

Couldn't see any othe thread with the same problem...

Had the same problem twice so far! It seems to be when they do a software update, it wipes the tv planner you have set up on the DVR box.

    UPC/NTL......stop wipping the TV Planners!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have had a few software updates earlier and the planner stayed intact.

Now the planner was wiped out but no new software?!?!?!

The planner always used to be fine after updates, in the past couple of weeks though I've noticed that it wipes it out. I had the chance to check that properly last night when I set something to record.......moments later it said there was an update in progress so I checked the planner afterwards and it was wiped again.

Shouldn't the updates be going through very late at night so that they don't disrupt when people are most likely to be watching tv?

I have also noticed that when I press the blue key on the remote while in the EPG, instead of going to "Primetime" it just returns to the channel I'm currently on... VERY annoying... I guess this is on all DVR's as it must be a bug in the software :-(
