Lidl Box & EPG

    Hi Folks,

I put up one of the lidl boxs last month & have been happy enough with it thus far, however the EPG is a disaster- I can only check the details of the current program & see the next program but not get details for it. This means I cant check to see what is on in 3 hours time for example. Is this normal? Can a software upgrade improve matters?

Would appreciate any feedback from those in the know.

If you point the sat dish at 19E, you will get a full EPG, but at 28E, it only does now and next. Lidl is German.

afaik thats all you can get with the lidl box.

a freesat (one with the freesat logo) box will give you a full 7 day epg.

You can get programming details for most of the decent FTA channels on 28E via xmltv (http://www.birtles.org.uk/xmltv/) and then use the file it generates in a viewer. BBCs/ITVs/C4s/Irish are available. Any channels you like that aren't there, their website might have schedules.
