Today when i went to fire a few rounds off my 1911 i realized that the hammer kept returning to its original position after i pulled it back or pulled the slide back, i gassed up an empty mag to see what would happen, well after i pulled the slide back all hell broke loose, it must have thought it was an aeg or something! At first I thought it was pretty amusing so I did it again but took a video this time.

The mag was really freezing cold after that :p

Ok so does anyone know what the problem is or how I could fix this? Or am I left with my automatic machine pistol forever ?

Sounds like its the leaf spring. theres a pin in the bottom of the pistol grip that releases the back strap on the grip. take that out and under the grip safety is the leaf spring. take it out and bend in the middle prong on it slightly, Then slap it all back in and see if the hammer stays cocked. if it does then you know the spring was the problem. you can continue to use it and it might not give you any more hassle but at most you'll need to buy a new spring.

Thanks! I'm not sure if what I did was what you described but It worked anyway (after an hour of trial and error). The Gun works perfectly now.
