Could they be the usual Alphajets - again?

Ireland has no jet fighters for that matter, but I could have missed a joke :o

What is the deal with the Alphajets? Who's are they and why to they frequent Baldonnel?

oh - and has anyone confirmed the jet was a Tornado?

They were indeed French Air Force Aplhajets, their deal is they are on Nav exercises and usually route through RAF Valley and go lowlevel in LFA7 ( Mach Loop ) in Wales before coming or leaving Baldonnel.

314-LO and 705-MS went into Baldonnel.

Lads i think we should all be very quiet about this, since we will have the anti Lisbonners on claiming it is the militarisation of our peaceful neutral island by the awful war mongering Europeans :D
Next thing you now we will have US warplanes landing in Shannon

I am not allowed discuss …

Do the French ever send anything more exciting on training missions that visit here? Specifically the Rafale...
