I did a Masters in a UK University in 2006-07. Can I claim back any tax for the fees which I paid for this (€6500 approx)? If so how do I go about this? Thanks.

Thanks Reg, I checked that out earlier, but without signing up and paying I couldnt find any information specific to my enquiry.

Anyone else have any experience in this area?

So sign up and pay!! They not in the business of robbing people and you do actually get a decent service for your outlay. As in sweet fa to do except fill in a few forms and sit back and wait for your money to come in. Just a suggestion, best of luck with other avenues. :)

The form you need can be found at that link, about 1/3 way down the page. I'm not sure if your eligible, but if you are you'll get 20% back.

Would Institute of Bankers/UCD Grad/Post-Grad courses be included?

The UCD courses will definitely be eligible, the IB one probably not as it's not a degree. That said PPC1 and PPC2 in Blackhall qualify.....but I'm not sure why.

AFAIK it's 20% up to a cut-off of 5000 euro paid fees (so you'd get 1000 back). Not sure if fees paid to a UK institute get it though...
