I am meeting my accountant tomorrow night (thursday29th) to get my pay and file form from her.
If i post it 1st thing on friday morning it definitely won't reach limerick before 31st (saturday) until monday 2nd.
Will i have to pay interest for late return?
Would i be safer driving to limerick 1st thing on friday morning and delivering it by hand to make sure it's in on time?
    Thanks,
    Gary

I bet your accountant is not worried about this at all because he probably has you set up to file online on ROS in which case you have until the 16th to have paid and filed your return. In this case you would not have to pay any late penalties or interest.

Before you go driving miles i would give him a quick call.

PS Clients are never told this because if you were then you would never get your tax info in to us. Its hard enough for us to make clients bring in their info by the 31st Oct.

    Hi Bobby,

I gave my accountant all my details a month ago but she only got back to me on tuesday past.
All my years dealings are in an a4 book broken down, month by month with earnings, expenses all listed separately so her work is made easier.
I don't know if i can file on line as she never mentioned it to me.
    i'll ask her tonight.
    Cheers,
    Gary
