It's not overly bad in my eyes, I've seen many worse paint jobs on E38s. He could have at least fixed his right kidney grill before taking a picture of it.

The worst E38 offence is the M7 badge, i'll let the paintjob slide if he doesn't have one...

You didn't see this in the modified motors section then: http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=62681703&postcount=1300

Color is ok, but I still just don't get how somebody could stick a bodykit like that on a 7-series.

This is a topic that was touched upon in the past. I like mine as it was when it came out of the factory, but then, horses for courses. It's a bit like seeing a PINK Jaguar. I just dont get it......................

I can understand small modifications, but modesty is appropriate.

And yes, the red one is immaculate. There are modifications that can be done to make it look apart, but they lie in the detail.

A body-kit is certainly never the way to go with these cars.

have you seen the link at the bottom of the page.... he has another BMW for sale... just a 316.... but the picture of it, is it being towed away

sadly the haead gasket has gone, and it has been rolled backwards into a post, it would look perfect if you were to fit a boot lid and bumper, can send pics if you want any, pls just let me no, thank you.
