    Hi Guys,

Possibly the wrong place to post this, it didn't seem to belong in paranormal or conspiracy theories, and I know there's usually a good amount on people on here, hope you all find this interesting, I did :)

(MODS: if this has been posted in the wrong place please feel free to move, thanks.)

As a people they still exist. And one or two of their cities lasted through the seventeenth century. And when they rebelled in the 19th century, they might may won had they not decided to pause their rebellion to gather the harvest. Interesting. I'm going to look at that.

Aye, in retrospect AH may have not been the best place to post this vid, just figured it might have been of interest to some who may not see articles / stories similar to this too often, but sure no panic either way :)

I'll be the first one on here to say that is a fascinating thing. Not so much the Pyramind but just thinking that the Mayans had no contact with the Egypitians who also built pyramids, yet they pretty much built the same structures. Albeit they were made differently and structured differently, but still. To think that a race that had no way of communicating with the rest of the world, who were pretty much isolated from the world would basically be able to copy other creations is pretty impressive. Like looking into a mirror or something.

As for the Pyramid, well I'd love to see one one day, hopefully I will.

I hope theres no Aliens or Preditors in there!!:(

I thought it was quite interesting. Although why does he claim there are still 'thousands of pyramids to be uncovered'? If they're covered he hardly knows about them...

I think Pyramid shaped structures were Natural solutions to engeneering problems faced by ancient civilisations...to build bigger and taller they needed to construct over an area that spread the weight over greater areas...

I don't mean to be a prick, but....

To say they were isolated is just erroneous, pre-invasion American people had a massive amount of contacts and transport routes throughout the Americas, and probably further afield. Also to say they were building the same structures in wrong, because their purpose and architecture are completely different. They are both incredible works of engineering, but on their own merits, not because they are comparable to one another. there's no copying involved here.
It just annoys me that the standard Western belief is that people in America/Asia/Africa were backward and 'isolated', when the reality is completely different.

Interesting, so people assumed their creation myth was influenced by catholicism before this???

The theists will love this.

I think its more that they were interfered with by catholicism, much like our own myths here in Ireland.

Creation myth? Anyway someone needs to retitle this thread. It's not like no-one knew about it. I'm damn sure the locals did. The fact that some honkeys from California 'discovered' it doesn't mean it's just been found.

    Really?
I've looked through your contributions to this site.
Most of them are on a private forum, so I can't link to them, and the rest are Martin Prince territory.

Are you sure you want to take the piss out of other people's threads?

That's just wrong. There was no contact between the Incas and Aztecs, and the Aztecs had no knowledge of people in the modern USA, who had no knowledge of Eskimos. The only "further afield" journeys were across the Bering Strait.
