    Hi, Im looking for an artist to make a reasonably simple engagement ring, with opals instead of diamonds, and im on a low budget:confused: does anyone have the name of a jewery artist in the north Leinster area?

    If you were willing to travel to Dublin, Barry Doyle Designs in George's Street Arcade in Dublin City is wonderful.
    He handmakes everything, and you can watch him working away. It's a really small intimate place.
    I got a gorgeous Mother of Pearl ring as a gift from there, it's really unusual.
    The website is full of interesting designs, but in store, things are often cheaper. I think you can pretty much get things from €100 onwards, but the best thing is YOU can design things!
