Final day of work on Friday(getting the big dundancy) so gonna watch em all straight through hopefully have it done by the time the new season starts in Jan!! woop

whats the most eps anyone ever watched in one row? I remember watchign the LOTR extended Editions in one sitting, was 12hrs 32mins or somthing.. also the Saw Quadology... and Watched 8 eps of West Wing in a row one nite.

I initially missed the first 6 episodes of season 3 and watched them all in a 24 hour period. I reckon that's why I have a far more positive opinion of those episodes than most people. That's the most Lost episodes I've watched in a row.

If I had the time, I'd love to go back and watch the show from the beginning. There's a great dramatic flow to many of the seasons, which you don't really appreciate watching week to week.

Most episodes I've watched in a row is about 4 or 5. Might watch a full season over a week or so.

I usually watch all the previous seasons while waiting for the new one to start, must have seen every episode at least 6 times on average. Some of the better episodes like The Constant I've probably seen more than a dozen times.

wow really? ive seen every single episode at least once, most only once, some twice and then some 3 times but dont think ive ever seen any more than that !

I have been doing the re-watch the last few months but I don't like watching a big bunch of episodes in a row even on repeat. I prefer things to be spaced out.
My record is 4 episodes in a row.

    wow really?
Yeah but I'm a massive fan of the show, and to put it in context I have seen all the episodes of my other favourite shows multiple times, like South Park and Twin Peaks. I watched all 5 seasons of the Wire in Jan/Feb this year and when they showed it on BBC during summer I watched it all again. Remember when you were a kid and you watched your favourite tv shows and films about a billion times and knew every single line everyone said?! It's kinda like that for me with some shows.

4 or 5 when we were squeezing in season 1-4 before 5. was usually 1 or 2 a nite but some nights we'd watch 4 or 5, coming up to season finales n stuff like that

I only started watching mid-way through season 1..

    .. and I watched the first 12 - 13 in a row (about 10 hours straight)!

The first half of season 1 was just incredible viewing tbh!

Completely agree... might just do that come Christmas to prepare for the final season!

Wow, that's terrific. Just looked on their website but couldn't find it, if someone else can I'd jump on that bargain.

The same boxset is in HMV in Limerick for €80(could be €90), very cheap considering i spent €45 on Season 5 alone.

Amazon have it for that - see here.. but they bring in the Irish VAT rate which brings it up to £85.40 delivered (or €95).

Already have season 1 on Region 1. Am gonna wait for the Complete Series (after season six has aired) on Blu-ray.

EDIT: Here it is on HMV (http://hmv.com/hmvweb/displayProductDetails.do?ctx=280;0;-1;-1;-1&sku=229084) - think they still charge £2.50 for delivery so shuld work out £2 cheaper than Amazon.

Frack me that's good value. Thanks guys. Just weighing up now if I'll get that or wait for the inevitable super duper 1-6 box set this time next year.

Yeah. I got a lend of the first 4 seasons of a friend for the rewatch. I'm tempted by this but I really don't want to as rather wait for the final ultimate 6 season boxset.

I did the whole of series 1 in one go. Then waited two years and watched series 2 and 3 over a weekend.

Now I am waiting for the 6th series to end so I can watch 4,5 and 6 in one go.

I have not seen one episode of 4 and 5 and have a very hard time avoiding spoilers :D

Quite honestly now that amazon do free delivery here I have no idea why people would buy stuff in shops in this country.
The retail industry is going to have undergo some major changes over next few years to stay competitive.

Sky 2 are showing the whole of Season 5 from 9am to 12:50pm on Wednesday so set your Sky+ boxes. Sky One are also showing Season 3 episodes at 3am every morning.

    For anyone who is interested:

The US iTunes store is giving away the Pilot and all the recap episodes for free - in standard and high definition. It is for US users only, but if you set up a US iTunes account (select none for payment method) you can download them too.

Sky 2 are playing the whole of Season 5 today in a row,it's currently on 'Namaste' for anyone who wants to see the rest of them.

I watched most of the Season 5 episodes which was a useful recap. I'll not likely watch the other seasons but will pick a few important episodes here and there. Hopefully that will refresh enough of my memory.
