ran my first full monday, no injuries just a bit stiff in the hammers. was hoping to do the gauntlet, which is a 1/2 marathon up and down gap of dunloe. its 2 1/2 weeks away. have i time to recover and if so how is my best way to prepare?

you would be mad to run it after doing the full.Id take 3-4 weeks off.Maybe 10days-2 weeks start some cross training or swimming or some easy runs.

I tend to recover quickly enough. Hoping to do the last imra event of the year on 7th November, Powerscourt Ridge. Even if I just jog it I'll enjoy it and recommend it heartily.

Well personally I'll be doing the Gauntlet and indeed the Crookstown 10k the week before, although I didn't really push myself for dcm. I reckon you'll be fine, in my view its all down to pacing, if you pushed dcm then I don't think I'd 'race' the gauntlet, but should be a beautiful run well worth doing!
