    Hi,
I am am avid coffee drinker and i would like to buy a coffee machine something simular to the ones you would find in your average coffee shop. What would be the best one to buy for home use that would not break the bank.

can't go too far wrong with a Gaggia classic.
You'll need a grinder too, though.

Gaggia Classic available from Brown Thomas: it was €300 in their sale, which was an excellent price. I don't know what it is now! The best espresso I ever had came from my Gaggia Classic. Sadly it wasn't me who made it, but I know what's possible!
