Sorry couldnt find anywhere on the internet but I myself found the Shortcut To Success Irish very good.Likewise I did not have the best teacher, however I think that book got me my grade.

PM me what poems you covered, I might have notes for them.

If you're looking for simple poems, go to lurgan.biz and the abair leat section. They have songs, and as long as you can understand them they're easy to write answers on. I wouldn't recommend learning notes off by heart. It eats up a lot of time and you're screwed if your theme doesn't come up.

Also get revisewise. I had to learn the whole Irish course by myself from that book because my teacher was an idiot (we did a Christmas play during our block classes, learnt two useless poems with themes that never come up and got about two listenings done in the course of the year). I got a B. Just don't hang around waiting for your teacher to start doing stuff. If shes really bad you're on your own, you just have to learn it by yourself.
