Freeview in South east

    Hi sorry about this but im a newb to thiss stuff i recently bought a 32" lg lh3200 and it has freeview built in now i was wondering can i recieve this as i live in the south east near hook head and if so how do i tune in..

    It should definitely be possible yes.You'll need a group B aerial with a mast head amp.
    Then just follow your tv's digital tuning instructions.
    Theres a whole thread on it here... it's a long one.

    Key tests:

    a) Are the neighbours aerials pointing out to sea, roughly due east?

    b) Were they getting good analogue from Wales?

    c) Do any neighbours have Freeview?

    If yes to a) - c) you are probably in business with a good Group B aerial.

    Preseli DTT channels:

    43, 46, 50 all 20 kW ERP, PSB stations, no interaction with Mount Leinster

    42, 49, 10kW COM stations no interaction with Mount Leinster

    45, 10kW, cochannel with RTE DTT Mount Leinster so may not work.
