Hi,

Can anyone suggest where i can buy bearing cartridges for Formula flip-flop hub.

Has anyone gone through the process of replacing them? I found the following instructions, looks pretty straight forward but heard you can damage the wheel. http://projekto-b.blogspot.com/2008/01/how-to-replace-your-cartridge-bearings.html

    Thanks

I've replaced the bearings in my SystemEx rear hub (not sure whether that's a re-branded formula hub or not).

It's not too difficult a process - the blog you linked to looks like good info. The main thing is not to apply pressure across the bearing i.e. whne push the new bearing in apply force to the outside race not the inside.

Other than that, make sure you get the right bearings. The size will be written on the old ones on the seals in tiny tiny writing.

I got trick ceramic hybrid bearings from this place, but I'm sure you can get cheaper stainless ones that are very good too.

Can't remember which precise bearings they have, but I spotted a good selection in Halfraud's, For headsets, Bottom brackets etc. Worth checking if you're near one!
