Raw 26/10/09 Discussion

Familiar with the fast-paced lifestyle akin to Monday nights, NASCAR's Kyle Busch and Joey Logano roll into Raw tonight in Buffalo, N.Y., where the speedster pair pulls rank as special guest co-hosts.

No matches announced afaik, but i expect to see:
Cody Rhodes vs Kofi Kingston
and
DX vs Jerishow build


Anyway discuss........

Probably as its a little earlier and I am not working tomorrow. It will be interesting to see how they set up Survivor Series.

Ads and the wrestling part of the matches! I watch a 2 hour Raw in under 30 minutes. Only stopping for Orton and Kelly Kelly.

EDIT...16 Minutes gone no DX?!!! The two hosts have decent material but are clearly nervous. Jericho v Kofi Johnson should be good though.

When did Jericho last win a one on one match? I haven't been watching much recently but the last time I remember him winning was a (bloomin' awesome) match against Jo Mo on Superstars many months ago.

Yeah he loses quite a bit these days but he knows it does not really hurt him and is not as insecure as others.

To be fair, Ozzy formed one of the greatest bands of all time and sold countless millions of records. It's extremely unfair to call him talentless, especially compared to the vast majority of RAW hosts we've seen so far.

He does but it was a nice fun finish to that match which did Show no harm. Cena v HBK v Hunter will be much better than Show v Taker as well.
Ideally Cena would have faced Miz or Swagger but heh its Survivor Series so they went with a match that they feel will draw them the most buys. Fair enough I suppose.

Cena, HHH, and HBK should be the start of something interesting. Maybe they'll throw a curveball this time and make HBK the heel instead of HHH. :pac:

I really thought one of the Survivor Series matches would have been Team DX vs Team JeriShow. Putting Show against Taker is a bad idea because Show relies on big impact moves, something I'm not sure Taker can handle right now. It gives Jericho nothing to do unless something comes up in the next week or two. With Batista fueding with Rey now, it gives CM Punk nothing to do.

Orton V Kingston could be pretty good though. Didn't see that coming. Possible SS match with Team MVP & Henry Vs Team Legacy. HHH and HBK in the same match for the WHC...... HOW WILL THEY CO-EXIST?

As I said in the other thread, too soon for Sheamus. I really like the guy, but he should have held the ECW title

Although as I said, I think it would have been better to have Team DX vs Team JeriShow.

Way I see it now, maybe Show beats Taker, Jericho gets jealous, they lose the tag titles, Jericho Vs Show for WHC, Jericho wins, Edge comes back, Jericho Vs Edge Wrestlemania.

That may actually be good even though I do say so myself

I really wish the guest host(s) knew the correct name of the superstars and ppvs. It would nice to see a few heel guest host(s). I didnt know who the guest hosts were on RAW this week (not a Nascar fan) but i thought one might have been heel but no all DX lovers.

Why didnt Orton come out and attack Kofi during the lumberjack match and why wasnt Cody a lumberjack?

Kofi should of stayed backstage if Orton wasn't going to attack him. But I will forgive WWE for giving us Kofi and Orton at all.

I hope swagger isn't turning. I want swagger v Cena.
