Hi all. Hope you can help here.

My girlfriend and I are moving from an apartment into a house shortly however I've been wondering what I can do in relation to my Sky.

We're currently 6 months into the contract with Sky+HD and all that was installed was the box and cables. The fact that there's a shared dish meant that we didn't get a dish.

What's the story in relation to moving? Will Sky crucify me in order to get a dish or will it come with the minimal install? Hope you can help! :)

Phone Sky and book a {MHO} moving home offer they will tell you to take your sky box and they will supply you with a dish at your new address roughly €65. who did you book your Sky hd with.

Got the Sky through an independent installer. So will I contact him?

Its your choice Sky will charge you roughly €65 for MHO and you get a new dish
The Guy you got your original install of will have to supply you a dish and will charge you for installing at the house. IMO regardless of you been in an apartment and it having a communal system you were originally entitled to a dish when you signed up for sky with him but you will have to double check that with sky.

Roughly €100 for the supply and install of a Sky dish from any installer ,,,,so the sky MHO offers seems on the face of it a good offer

Was that with Sky Direct or a local installer?

    Ah maybe it's because it's Sky+.
