Solid fuel stove liner problem.

    Hi,

I'm installing a solid fuel stove proud of an existing fireplace.

My fireplace flue is 8" internal diameter clay and my outlet at back of stove is 7 and 3/4".

My thoughts are that I do not use a flue liner(no room for fill on outside), but just gland the flue outlet on stove to chimney.

    Is this correct?

    Many thanks.
