Trials for Republic of Ireland Under-21 Team

Trials for he Republic of Ireland Under-21 team will be held in conjunction with the Ireland Players' Championship.

The first trial will be held on Sunday, November 1st., at the Springhill Court Hotel, Kilkenny.

Entries will be accepted up to 3.00pm at the venue.

Twenty players competed in the first of the Under-21 trials at the Springhill Court Hotel on Sunday, November 1st.

The winner was T.J.Dixon who defeated David Coyne 3-2 in the final.

In the semi-finals T.J. defeated Mick Meaney Jr. 3-2 and David defeated Sean Lahiff 3-1.

Rankings points will be allocated to the players after each round and a Rankings List will be compiled shortly.

The second trial for the Republic of Ireland Under-21 team will take place at the Abbeyleix Manor Hotel, Co. Laois, on Saturday, November 21st., in conjunction with the Round Two of the Ireland Players' Championship.

Entries will be accepted at 3.00pm.

The second of the Youths' Under-21 trials will be held on Sunday, December 13th., at the Abbeyleix Manor Hotel, Co. Laois, after the Ireland Players' Championship Under-18 competition - entries at 3.00pm.

Does anyone know what the story with that ranking list was for ? After that last ranking tournament there was no mention of it afterwards any ideas what is happening? any reply wud b gud thanks
