Air Con problem

Looking for help with my air con system. When the car is started from cold it takes about 3 or 4 minutes for the air con to kick in. During the day when the car has been in use, it kicks in much quicker. Any ideas? :confused: Thanks.

By kick in, do you mean for you to start seeing an effect or for the light to come on? Mine starts working pretty much immediately either way.

mine usually takes about a minute before its clearing the windscreen effectively after starting from cold. Maybe it could be low on gas making it less effective. A re-gas might be worth looking into

you can buy a kit in halfrauds for about 40 euro if you fancy trying it yourself
