Is that the same INDO, C.B., that issued their fixture list last March and chopped and changed it so much that their own members do not know whether they are coming or going ?

For example, May 23/24 - Mohill - same weekend as the Youth Friendship Trophy in the Green Isle where all of the Irish Under-21 players were competing - Mohill was changed.
For example, September 3/4 - Ennis - changed to August 22/23 to clash with the Tom Kirby Irish Matchplay - thus, depriving players of playing in the World Championship Qualifier and once again disrespecting Tom Kirby who they suspended 15 years earlier because he had the "audacity" to join the WDC {PDC}!
For example, Oct. 24/25 - advertised for the Kettles Country Club in Dublin and changed to Ennis.
For example, Nov.1 - Sligo Singles - clashing with Ireland Players' Championship in Kilkenny.
For example, Nov. 28/29 - Mohill - changed to Nov. 21/22 - clashing with Ireland Players' Championship in Abbeyleix.

Crikey I wasn't aware of so many clashes & fixture changes. Is there bad feeling between organisers? I know there is two INDO websites http://www.irelanddarts.com/ and http://www.darts.ie/indo.htm but I always check the irelanddarts.com one.

A simple reply to this comment - - log on to www.dartsinireland.com and you will find a separate section for the INDO/ Republic of Ireland.
The reason why it has not been updated for more than a couple of years is that the INDO were not forthcoming with their fixtures, results and rankings lists - - - it would be easier to get information from MI6 !

I have seen Paddy Meaney play a few times now and he is an amazing prospect. he gave Connie finnan a big scare at a final in the Green Isle back in May, got up on the stage in Killarney and played the sort of darts the pros would be proud of and now a national title.

In five years, at this rate he will be a television regular, top player who looks very comfortable with the big boys for a lad of his age.

Paddy also played in seniors yesterday and was very unlucky in going down 4-3 to eventual runner up McCloskey. He missed many darts at doubles. He's already ranked No 3 in seniors only just behind Connie and Martin.
In junior final he hit back to back 180's. He's a lovely young lad and considering Taylor is about 50 and still top then at only 16 yrs old there's a great living in darts yet for Paddy if he keeps it up.

everyone out there can talk the talk but the indo needs an official from each county board to all work together to create a structure for dats in ireland it is younger players who are being affected by all of these fixture changes and long distance travelling to rank for your country irish rankings should be divided into five or six sections of the country with only the best four or five players from each section eligable to go (expenses paid by each area board) to compete to play for ireland this way there is no need for a player from say sligo or donegal to travel to cork or dungavan kilkenny wexford and such places when they might be beaten first round lose interest and think what was this four hundred mile journey for and never play outside thier county again. we all know who they are hundreds of our countries finest dart players that will never represent ireland simply because they cant afford the exspenses that come with attending rankings. i would like to say to all of you that are clearly annoyed with darts in this country that the indo cant change it you can change it by leading the way in your own county by nominating someone to be your voice in the indo to create the structure needed to keep darts on the way up and to get our sport the recognition it merits at the end of the day the people in darts seeking personal gain are the problem the youth is the future always will be and if this country does not sort out the way they are treated as second class players in ten years time darts will be back to be a game for thrity and forty year olds drinking the game away.
