Guitar multi fx pedal

I've had my digitech rp-10 for years and I get this horrible low frequencing hum nearly always. I just can't seem to isolate the problem. It is really annoying and am thinking of getting a new multi fx pedal. I'm thinking of getting a decent enough one, preferably with a good loop function as well. Good distortion is also important.
    Can anyone recommend anything?

Couldn't recommend any with decent distortion.. but I just ordered a TC G-System from the states, quality set-up!

I used to own a Boss GT-6 which took a good stab at Brown Sound... Nice effects in there too!
