Good luck with this poker event in the horse shoe .I want to give you one warning though I used to run a small poker night here as well for a mate of mine and the pub has a history of closing every few weeks or months as the rent for the lease is very high and a lot of guys give it a try to see if it works for them. Also it has a bad record for getting raided by the guards across the road.Having said all that I wish you well and hope it works for yea and if you want anymore info just ask or pm me

cheers for the heads up . its bein all done up and looksv nice the reason the guards were called alot is because of multi re buy tournies and they could not get rud of the players come 1am so freeze out should sort that problem out,
ta for the advice all details will be up tomorow on this tourney

Sorry there I have to correct you on who ever was feeding you wrong info we never ran a multi re buy tournies we done one rebuy or topup .Also we made a deal with the owners that we were off the premises at 12.The real reason why the cops were called is because the pub had a bad name with the cops before we even started to run the poker nights. When the pub closed down if was because there was no business because the new owners tried to keep out a few of the trouble makers and he was getting no business .Maybe the new owner might have better luck with this place and it might take off for you and I hope it does.Im not trying to stop players from going there I just want you to be aware of the place .To be honest I give it two to three months max before they close there doors it has changed hands three times this year

Are the blinds correct? Without the 75/150 and 100/200 levels you should finish the game by 10:30.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 64 ✭✭nut nut

no i have changed the blinds now and added the new levels the first 4 blinds are 15 min and the rest are 20 also .as for the rest of your message

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 64 ✭✭nut nut

the 100/200 blinds should have always bein there thats a typo as for 75/150 blinds there not widely used in any tournaments unless its a larger buy in and it would have to start well before 8.30 which alot of people cant make the early start

thanks for your interest in nut nut poker tournaments
