Huge gamegear lot on ebay Ireland!

This has been a bit of a pain over the last month as all these games were listed individually. As a result, they keep popping up any time I've tried to search for Sega games on ebay Ireland.

Anyway, the guy who owns them seems to have realized they're not going to sell and has put them all together in one auction.

That's 100+ boxed Gamegear games and other gamegear bits and bobs.

I've given it it's own thread as it's incredibly rare to see such a huge lot like this in Ireland. So if any of you fancy bidding for once you don't really have to worry about importing. Hurrah!

Its hard to believe that you can play Master system games on the Game Gear and Megadrive, but you cant play Game Gear games on either the master system or Megadrive.Shame Sega never released a play-thru device like the super game boy:(

The buy it now is ridiculously overpriced.
It's open to bids though. Just all depends what that reserve is set at.

That's a lovely collection, although the Game Gear itself is in need of repair and there's not many people who could sort that sound issue out, I reckon.
The game collection itself is easily worth 100, if not more.
If this was 2 years ago, I'd make that offer, but in these heady days of pension levys and soon wage cuts in the public sector, it looks like the occasional little PS2 purchase in GS is all I can afford!

Hmm I'm tempted. I loved my Game Gear back in the day (it's actually right below me, in its carry case, in a slot in my desk) still works fine

No wonder the country went downhill, it was all those public service employee's buying retro games.

Not sure about this. I think the picture is taken from another ad hence the camera icon in the bottom right of the pic.............

Have e mailed the lad and asked what the reserve is and can i collect....Worth a trip back to the emerald isle to collect in my book.........Do not care about the game gear ( i have 2 ) but for the games allow...........

The camera icon at the bottom of the pic is on ebay images. It's legit. Sure I've seen the guy list each game separately over the last month or so.

Hope someone here gets it. (Only so I can hound them until they let me have a look at the lot :pac:) I've never seen so many gamegear boxes together in one place.

Me neither. It will annoy my all ready peed off girlfriend with more computer stuff round the house. We have just moved and have taken over 80% of the storage for my collection............

Hah yeah, I don't think my girlfriend knew how much videogame related stuff I actually had until we moved in together.

Although to be honest, I didn't really know how much I had until I started to move the lot of it.

Horrible feeling I'll have to downsize at some point

So this hasn't sold then? I've a working Game Gear and would fancy a few games. Over 100 would be a bit too many for me I think I only ever had about 10 of them! I couldn't even name 50 games let alone 100.
