Yeah ATP looks like a super line-up. I just hope the likes of Melvins, Sunn O))) to name but two come over to Dublin for a night also....

u:mack gig on until 3 am so you will have plenty of time to get down there after TMV

You are safe, it is going to be a late show so you can see both bands, its the U:Mack promoters birthday gig so there will be hopefully some other atp bound bands playing it

U:Mack doesn't tend to use Ticketmaster (uses tickets.ie). In any case, he said tickets will be on sale towards the middle of this week, price TBC.

Saw them in Vicar Street last year and they were fantastic. Saw them again twice in ATP that same weekend and again - brilliant!

Think I might skip this one though as I'm heading to 10 Year ATP so I'll see them there. Wuhoo!

u:mack productions are throwing a serious party in Tripod on Thurday December 10 to celebrate 15 years of promoting underground music in Dublin. The event is going to be a full night of very diverse acts, carefully chosen to make it an awesome night out. Beginning at 8pm and running until 3am, Headline act Battles will be going on around 12.30am, and with the excellent !!! (chk chk chk) DJ's playing both before and after them, it's gonna be the party of the year. full line up info below, with full details of running order and set times to follow real soon

BATTLES
Brooklyn's Battles have chosen u:mack's party to be one of a small handful of performance's that will give the audience the opportunity to check out new material from their next album, due out in the second half of 2010. As it is unlikely Battles will tour again before their second opus drops, the time is nigh to check out new material.

THE EX
We're extremely privileged to have Europe's (if not the world's) finest band, Holland's mighty The Ex on the bill for our party. Formed in the late seventies, their discordant, highly rhythmic guitars and the rolling, almost African drumming style make The Ex's live performances absolutley thrilling

65DAYSOFSTATIC
Combining elements of post-rock with heavy electronica influences, Sheffield's instrumental 65daysodstatic have developed into Britian's finest live act. They'll be taking time out of mixing their new album (due out next year) to perform at our party
