    Hi,

    I have a 06 Astra Hatchback and thinking of maybe moving to something a little bigger so I can comfortably head off for weekends with wife and child (lots to pack).

    Are garages looking for trade ins these days? Looking for maybe an 07 Mondeo or simular (feel free to suggest). Any advice should I keep what I have for a while?

    If you can live with the Astra as things stand then I would keep it. If you still need to trade up then it is going to cost you alot of money especially if going from an Astra size car up a segment to a bigger Mondeo type car.

    you would be wasting a huge amount of money.
    buy a roof box instead
