Hi guys, looking for something in between a netbook and a laptop, around the 13-14 inch size would be ok?

I also would like a decent battery along with being well enough powered and good memory. I may occasionally be using pro engineer but usually just day to day music and dvd's. Have this in mind and its around my budget, just wandering what ye think? would I be better going for a bigger processor?

Also, not the most legal of subjects but I have a dodgy microsoft office professional that works on vista and xp, if I go to windows 7 is it worth then forking out for the office?
    all opinions appreciated.

oh and it says only delivers to the US, does anyone know a way around this?
    Thanks
